The Red Carpet Inn is in the area where we spend our time with friends. I have stayed there several times with no complaints for the money. Rooms were always clean and comfortable. They are small and lack some of the ammentities that larger motels have but you get what you pay for.
I really have no complaints, the rooms are small but comfortable. If you expecting the Hilton you will be disappointed but for around $60 per night don't expect too much.

Smoking rooms were available, but the room did not smell like smoke.
Towels, blankets, comforter were horrible. Hair on towels, blankets extremely scratchy & looked like they hadn't been washed in a while. Shower broken - falling off wall. Hot & cold faucet was backward. Owners disappeared while young couple screamed & fought 2 nights - chasing each other screaming, smashing the windshield of their car....only 2 cars in the parking lot so it wasn't like they didn't see or hear it. It should have been taken care of my staff.

I could not sleep till morning because of the smoky smell of the room. Also they say that there is comlimentary breakfast. But it is a lie. There is only a coffe machine and this is what they mean about breakfast. Wifi is not working in al rooms.

I didn't like how the front desk attendant behaved when I asked for an extra towel. There was four of us, 2 adults and 2 kids and there was only three regular size towels and three wash clothes in the room. The attendant kept repeating "oh my god" redundantly over and over again, right in-front of my face. This hotel at Wind Gap also offered (free) breakfast but we were only notified once about the opportunity and it seemed as the the breakfast came from their own kitchen. It was 2 different cereals in 2 plastic containers, already expose open orange juice and milk. Needless to say, we were in luck that there was a McDonald's near by. The water pressure from the shower head was ... like a broken hose in the yard. When we told the front desk attendant about the situation, she called upon her husband to fix's the problem and he seemed to be bother that we were asking him for help. I can truly say I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.
